Whitman P. Loflin

Whitman P. Loflin graduated from Brevard College in 1963. Whit would follow his time at Brevard College and further his education at both Appalachian State University and North Carolina State University. Whit spent his career serving his country and the people of North Carolina - following his service in the United States Navy during the Vietnam era, he started a rewarding career in public education as a vocational teacher. Mr. Loflin is married to Jeanne B. Loflin and they reside in Wilkesboro, NC. Whit remains passionate about spending time in nature and pursuing outdoor activities. In addition, he's an avid wood and metal worker. Whit & Jeanne created The Whitman P. Loflin Endowed Scholarship in Wilderness Leadership and Experiential Education through a bequest in their estate plans.
